For the entertainer … a very handsome mid-century pressed glass pitcher in the famous Wexford pattern by Anchor Hocking.  Measuring 5-3/4 inches high, it holds 16 ounces of liquid, making it not only decorative but extremely versatile as a water pitcher, to hold dressings or sauces at the holiday table, or even as a mixing glass for cocktails.  It is in pristine condition with no discernible chips or cracks.

Anchor Hocking was founded in 1905 in Lancaster, Ohio (named after the Hocking river).  Wexford glass was produced by the company from 1967 to 1998 and has become increasingly collectible in recent years.  The pattern is characterized by small and large diamonds and a band of criss-cross design near the top edge.  Our pitcher reflects light beautifully and would sparkle on a sideboard or kitchen shelf.

Wexford glass was marketed as dishwasher safe but we recommend hand-washing.
